Alphatech Systems performs all of the following duties:
Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, and perform repair on them when necessary.
Wire machines and electrical panels in line with prints.
Light machining.
Troubleshooting: identify a problem and proffer logical solutions to them.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters.
Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
Install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
Perform troubleshooting of relay controls, variable frequency drives (VFD), motor control centers, and synchronous drives.
Read power distribution schematics and diagrams of high voltage and peripheral distribution systems.
Maintain both A/C and D/C main power generation systems.
Install electrical services ranging from 480 volts ac to 24 volts dc.
Work on a daily basis with voltages from 12vdc to 13.8kv AC systems.
Establish and write LOTO policies, procedures and guidelines for plant operations and maintenance.
Perform installation of wires, cables, drive motors, VFD's, sensors and encoders.
Set new breaker panels, wire up CNC machines, install resin pumps and chop guns.
Ensure work are completed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and codes set forth by the federal government.
Include the installation of EMT and rigid conduit for branch circuits, fire alarm systems and motor control circuits.
Install lighting and motor control circuits, underground service wiring, feeder and branch circuit panels within NEC specifications.
Follow plant policies in accordance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70E, Lockout/tag out/tryout safety rules and confine entry regulations.
Install new conduit runs (EMT, PVC coat rigid, rigid, PVC underground) using clock and hand benders.
Perform drafting for electrical installations following applicable NEC code, wiring configurations, load calculations, resistance and line loss calculations.
Extensive reading, interpretation and application of blueprints, schematics & technical drawings.
Construct, wire electrical panels for material handling production machinery, debug PLC logic, and troubleshot electrical/electronic controls and circuits.
Work independently for the engineering department on designing and fabricating new computerize and PLC integrate process control equipment and monitoring systems.
Line out daily jobs, run conduit, terminate electrical and instrument equipment, work in motor control centers.
Perform TIG, MIG and stick welding to fabricate or repair parts.
Install, repair, and maintain fire and security systems according to the NFPA and NEC.
